Enroll below!
Due to popularity and our exclusive mentorship program, most of our Intermediate and Advanced classes have filled.
Below is a list of classes still available, and their descriptions.
SHE SAID / SHE SAID: NARRATION

Get the straight story from a top Bay Area Narration Talent and an LA Agent…

A duo never before paired together will give you their up-front assessments to your narration skills. As the weeks progress, you will continue to get feedback from both instructors on the same narration performance. Did they say the exact same thing? Great! It’s clear what to work on. Did they use different words (because one is an actor and the other is an agent) but still say the same thing, or did their feedback differ and what the heck does that mean? Strengthen the voice-over calculator in your brain, and translate all the data into useful information to improve your performance. Learn to be quick on your feet and swift in your reactions to direction. Be a performer that is ready for anything because that actor gets booked again and again and again.

ONE DAY WONDER: VIDEO GAME GRUNT WORK

Pack some action into your character voice acting!

Breathe life into a video game character until you eventually help them shuffle off this mortal coil. In the morning, you will develop a character and run through scripts living and feeling as that creation. Then in the afternoon, things will take a darker turn as Erik Braa exposes you to all the different ways a video game character can die, teaching you how to perform “efforts” and “impacts”: the sounds of dying. How does it sound to expire from the stab of a small dagger versus the swinging force of a spiked battle flail, or falling off a 30-foot cliff versus a 300-foot cliff? Actors with an inventory of death sounds in their repertoire are the ones who get the jobs. Sometimes it all comes down to making an effort.
