Around The Campus Live! Week 3

Even though our beloved first born – the printed catalogue – is back (Huzzah!), we would never ignore our baby, the digital version of the catalogue. In fact, we want to kick it up a notch and that’s where YOU come in! By adding an exciting audio component to our online class descriptions, benefitting those who are visually impaired, we are opening a performance opportunity of a different kind. In this brand-new idea from the Voicetrax Think Tank brain trust, the students in this class will help us bring the digital catalogue’s class descriptions to life with an audio performance. These performances will live on our website for the entire semester as you zero in on your interpretation of the brand voice of the school’s catalogue, The Voicetrax Star. And because the point of this class is not website glory (although a little glory wouldn’t be bad, now would it?) and is about bolstering your acting chops, we can’t get away from that “annoying little brother”, yet vitally essential skill of self-direction. You’ll be asked to weigh on your fellow student’s performances in a collaborative environment bringing out the best you have to give.
